RETURN POLICY OVERVIEW

Caelum Praxis Holdings LLC, operating as Vigilant Safety ("we," "us," or "our"), stands behind the quality of our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange eligible items within 90 days of the original purchase date, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below.


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  1. Timeframe: Returns must be initiated by contacting our support team within 90 days of the original purchase date.

  2. Condition: Products must be returned in usable condition, including all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and components. Items showing signs of misuse, damage, or alteration may be rejected or subject to partial refund at our sole discretion.

  3. Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid order number (beginning with "R") found in your Order Confirmation Email, Shipping Confirmation Email, or Vigilant Safety account.

  4. Exclusions: The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

    • Personalized or customized products
    • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification
    • Warranty claim replacement orders
    • Certain limited edition or promotional items (as indicated at time of purchase)
    • Digital downloads or software (if applicable)

RETURN PROCESS BY REGION

United States Customers

Free Returns:

  • U.S. customers receive a free prepaid USPS return shipping label via email upon return approval.
  • Print the prepaid label and affix it to the outside of your return package.
  • Drop off the package at any USPS location.
  • We recommend retaining your USPS drop-off receipt for tracking purposes.

  • Important: Returns without valid tracking information cannot be processed and will not be eligible for refund.

United Kingdom Customers

  • Important: Returns without valid tracking information cannot be processed and will not be eligible for refund.
  • Customs duties, VAT, and any applicable fees are non-refundable and remain the customer's responsibility.
  • International return shipping may take 14-21 business days to process.

REFUND PROCESSING

  1. Inspection: Upon receipt of your returned item(s), we will inspect the product to ensure it meets our return eligibility requirements.

  2. Approval: If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of approval.

  3. Notification: You will receive email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

  4. Non-Refundable Costs:

    • Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
    • Any customs duties, taxes, or fees paid at time of delivery are non-refundable.
    • Return shipping costs (for Canada and U.K. customers) are the customer's responsibility and are non-refundable.
  5. Partial Refunds: If your return does not meet our condition requirements, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund or reject the return entirely. You will be notified via email if this occurs.

  6. Promotional Items: If your original order included free or promotional items, all items must be returned together to qualify for a full refund. Failure to return promotional items may result in deduction of their retail value from your refund.


EXCHANGES

  1. U.S. Customers: Exchanges are shipped free of charge within the United States after your return is approved and processed.

  2. Canada and U.K. Customers: Exchange shipping fees apply. You will be notified of applicable shipping costs prior to dispatch.

  3. Availability: Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

  4. Process: To request an exchange, please contact our support team at support@vigilant-safety.com or via our contact form and indicate "Exchange" as your reason. Our support team will contact you to finalize the exchange details.

FINDING YOUR ORDER NUMBER

Your order number begins with the letter "R" and can be found in:

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately at support@vigilant-safety.com with the following information:

  • Order number
  • Description of the damage or defect
  • Photographs of the product and packaging (if applicable)

We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, including return shipping. Damaged or defective claims must be reported within 14 days of delivery.


IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. Non-Vigilant Products: Only Vigilant Safety products purchased through our official channels are eligible for return. We cannot process returns for non-Vigilant products.

  2. Complete Returns: All components of your order, including promotional or free items, must be returned to qualify for a full refund.

  3. Lost Returns: We are not responsible for returns lost in transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method and retaining proof of shipment. If you experience issues with your prepaid return label (U.S. customers), please contact us at support@vigilant-safety.com and we will work with you to resolve the matter.

  4. Fraudulent Returns: We reserve the right to refuse or reject returns that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise violate this policy.

  5. Policy Modifications: We reserve the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

GOVERNING LAW

This Return and Refund Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or related to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas.

For customers in the United Kingdom, nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection laws.

For customers in Canada, nothing in this policy affects your rights under applicable provincial consumer protection legislation.
